Andrea Bowen visits the Red Cross

I stumbled across an older article / audio clip with Andie tonight, it was from 2007/2008 I think and it was when Andie took a trip to the Red Cross HQ and talked about the importance of youth improvement.

Andrea Attending GLAAD 2006

I haven’t added anything to the site in a while. With me hounding on my Eva site and making my Lady Gaga site it’s been hectic. Maybe another update soon! Don’t forget to watch Desperate Housewives tonight!

NOH8 Campagin / Julie Spoiler

Here’s Andie’s support photo, doesn’t it look great? When we do our new layout it’ll be one we use, as the cause is something very dear to me. It’s so amazing and makes me adore Andrea so much more for supporting a cause she believes in. That’s always such a great thing to see in a celeb.

When will we find out who strangled Julie? – Lana

Not until the end of the season. Andrea Bowen (Julie) tells me, “even the person who did it doesn’t even know. Marc Cherry made an announcement after he screened the first episode at his house. He said, ‘The greatest thing about this year’s mystery is the person who did it is in this room and has no idea, so he’s keeping it under lock and key. Everyone was there – the entire cast. Even guest stars from future episodes.” But one significant person was absent – James Denton, so we can rule out him. If Andrea had to guess, she’s point her finger at Drea DeMatteo’s secretive new housewife, Angie Bolen. Lending support to this theory will be future flashback scenes that reveal how Julie and Nick met and began their forbidden affair. “There is a scene where I don’t have a shirt on, but fortunately it was shot from the back.”

Sun Safety: Behind the Scenes

In addition to acting, Bowen is a strong supporter for sun safety and skin cancer prevention efforts. Bowen says that the shirts not only carry a message about sun protection, they can protect from the damaging effects of the sun and still allow you to stay fashionable. “These are not just message or logo shirts. They’re flattering on you and they block the UV rays that usually get through normal tops,” she said.

Here are the first two behind the scenes photos from the Sun Safety shoot, which is going on right now.

Andrea Bowen of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and Kathryn Morris of CBS’s “Cold Case” will be spokespersons for a new UV-Protective t-shirt line being launched by the Sun Safety Alliance (SSA), in collaboration with the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc.
