Andrea Bowen: After The Fall Premieres October 9th!

Andrea Bowen shows off her renewed blonde locks as she arrives at the Audi/Chopard EMMY week red carpet style kick-off party held at Cecconi’s Restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday night (August 22).

The 20-year-old actress debuted her new hair at French Connection’s Fall 2010 Collection debut party last week in West Hollywood.

Andrea will star alongside Step Up 3D’s Rick Malambri in the upcoming After The Fall.

The flick follows Jenna (Bowen), a competitive horse rider who is left paralyzed and her equestrian dreams shattered. She joins a physical therapy program as part of a clinical trial study but she’s hesitant to start the program. Wheelchair bound, Jenna’s life completely changes as she starts, her old friends and boyfriend disappear and lonely and frustrated, Jenna comes close to giving up. With the help of her new found friends and next door neighbor, ex-rodeo cowboy Will Dutton (Malambri), she finds inspiration to try and walk and ride again.

After the Fall premieres Saturday, October 9 @ 8PM ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.

Goodbye Julie Mayer!

We’re quite saddened to announce that Andrea will NOT be reprising her role as Susan’s voice-of-reason daughter, Julie Mayer. No word is out yet as to why Andrea will not be returning for September’s seventh season but we have to wonder how they will explain her leaving.

Julie’s story with the Fairview Strangler was but wasn’t entirely ended. Although we know what happened to Eddie we’re not too sure how the writers will explain that to his only surviving victim.

So we say a fond goodbye to Julie Mayer, we certainly hope to hear from and of her often. While we wait for the new season to start and see how they wrap up Julie’s story, I can announce that Andrea’s new Hallmark movie, After The Fall is slated to air on the Hallmark Channel later this year.

Hiatus

Until I find a suitable co-web for ABC I’m afraid I’ll be putting the site on HIATUS. I don’t have the time right now to catch up on all of the Andrea news by myself sadly, this is my graduating year and I really need to buckle down and focus for exams. I will try and be back fully over the summer, and hopefully by September we’ll be completely caught up.

Andrea Bowen Races for Marriage Equality

Andrea Bowen raises her arms up high as she speaks at L.A.’s Celebrity Race for Marriage Equality with a Celebrity Race at the Los Angeles City Hall on Sunday afternoon (April 18).

The event, hosted by Los Angeles Race Fantastique, is a spoof on California’s Prop 8. The ‘race’ had players racing around town, solving clues while trying to defeat (the fictional) Proposition 8a that would forbid a single individual – named LARF (also fictional) – from marrying.

Andrea, 20, recently completed filming After The Fall. She plays Jenna, a champion horseback rider who, after a serious accident, leaves her paralyzed. The movie will premiere on Hallmark later this year.

Autographed Photo & “Desperate Housewives” DVDs

With Andrea having attended and volunteered at the Celebrity Auction benefiting Feeding America on Wisteria Lane she graciously donated an autographed an item from the show and her own work to be auctioned off to help Feeding America.

The bid ENDS on May, 04, 2010 13:00:00 PST and I would definitely suggest trying, the money goes to a great cause and ust thin of how good you’d feel after. Not to mention the cool Andie swag.

Bid now on “The Complete Fifth Season Desperate Housewives” DVD set and autographed photo from actress Andrea Bowen. Ms. Bowen donated the DVDs and photo to support ConAgra Food’s Child Hunger Ends Here Neighborhood Rally campaign. The goal is to rally your neighbors and make a difference for kids struggling with hunger.

Proceeds from the auction benefit Feeding America to help end child hunger now.
